Santa Clara Vanguard, under Percussion Arranger and Caption Manager Paul Rennick, captured the Fred Sanford Best Percussion Performance Award with an average caption score of 19.62 as the 2014 DCI season wrapped up at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN. Bluecoats captured the silver medal with a score of 97.175. Other world class corps included The Cavaliers, Phantom Regiment, Boston Crusaders, Crossmen, Colts, Troopers, Spirit of Atlanta, and The Academy.
