YOSHIKI HIGASHI (drums/percussion) Born in Osaka, JAPAN, 1975, received his Bachelors degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has recorded for film, television and with several ensembles in Japan, and performed on such musical productions as 'Les Miserable', 'Jekyll & Hyde', 'Grand Hotel', 'Sweeney Todd', 'How To Succeed', 'Triumph of Love', 'Singin' in the Rain', 'Oklahoma', 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' in Japan. He has performed at such festivals as the Next Wave Festival in 2002 sponsored by the Brooklyn Academy of Music with the play 'MacBeth' directed by Yukio Ninagawa, Asien-Pazifik-Wochen Berlin 2007 with Koji Ueno Big Band.
