Yasmane Santos Hernandez. I was born in February 26th, 1988 in Havana Cuba. I graduated from the National School of Arts Instructors. Studied at the MusikSchule in Innsbruck Austria.

In Cuba I have worked with the following musical Groups: -Manana Club, Dennis y su Swing, Habana All Stars, The company shows Dulce habana and with the succesful band of the Urban Genre Chakal. In 2010, i participated in the Festival of Drums, where I won the 2nd place in the Category of Congas.

Actually, I live in Angola, where I play in succesful bands like: Y ola Semedo (diva of the angolan song) and Banda Maravilha, Angolan music icons.

In Angola I Played with:

Filipe Mukenga, Gabriel Tchiema, Puto Portugues, Ricardo Lemvo, Eduardo Paim, Nsoki, Ary, Sandra Cordeiro, Kueno Aionda, Jack Nkanga, Toto, Dodo Miranda, Bangao, Don Caetano, Irina Vasconcelos, Ondaka yo Wimi, Selda, Paulo Flores, Toty Samed . Sandra Cordeiro. Nsoki. Pablo Flores. Don Caetano. Boy G Mendes. Lokua Kanza. Yuri da Cunha. Eduardo Paim. Alison Paixao. Filho do Zua. Landrick. Rui Orlando. Preto Show. Lil Saint. Valeri Ekoume. And others . I participated in concerts of Classical Music, Accompanying great Opera singers of the Angolan music. I played with one of the Divas of Cuban song, Haila Maria Mompie, in her tour in Luanda. Integrate the band of the Master Joaquim Betancourt in Angola. I also Played with Mederic Colignon, French trumpeter and Frederik Lebeer a Belgian pianist. I have participated in several international festivals, including The Jazz festival SESC in Sao Paulo, accompanying Affrikanitah, one of the highest representatives of Angolan Jazz. Also the Zouk Music Festival in Mocambique and Kizomba Festivals. Actually I'm percussionist in Y ola Semedo 's Band.

I participated in Several Recordings of Angolan singers like: Gabriel Tchiema, Filipe Mukenga, Dj Djeff, Kyaku Kiadaff and others.

I Played with The Groove 7 Band, where the great Brazilian play together, as Carlos Cafe do Pandeiro. With the great percussionist Chuito Quintero and Yusniel Jimenes in a Jam Session in New York.

I also accompanied international voices like Boy G Mendes, senegalese Singer with cape Verde origin and Ravi Kahalani a yemeni Singer.

I Shared stage with bands like Calypso (Brazil) and Kassav (Guadalupe). I also played at the openning concert of show of Nicky Minaj and Trey Songz in Angola.

In Miami I played with the Rumba Group Los Herederos, Lena Burque and Malena Burque and Luis Bofill. Actually I play with Team do Sonho Project who play with most of the famous artist in Angola.

Also played with the famous guitar player Lenni Stem at the Jazz Plaza Festival in havana 2019. My facebook page Yasmane Santos Percussion has more than 10.300 followers.

Currently, I am also a Percussion professor in the School of Music Training in Luanda, Angola. As a teacher, I participated in cultural exchanges in Venezuela and between Angola and EEUU also in Austria.

I have taught Percussion workshops in various Schools and Institutions in Angola, Brasil and Argentina
