The Twin Cities Area Independent Percussion Ensemble (TCAI) was created in 2006 with the concept of providing its members the opportunity to participate in a NATIONAL LEVEL/CALIBER, winter drumline program in the upper Midwest. TCAI was created as an outlet for those members that wish to further their educational experiences through this “next level” winter percussion program.

TCAI placed 4th at the WGI Independent A Class World Finals in 2008, their first year in competition. Scoring a 90.45, narrowly missing the bronze medal by 3 tenths.
