Tim Wood is currently the Director of the Royal Guard of Oman Drum Corps and the Battery Coordinator for the World Class WGI ensemble Infinity Percussion. He fell in love with rudimental snare drumming at the age of 16, and quickly fought his way to the top of the Drumline world by marching one season with the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps (2008), one season with the Madison Scouts (2009), and one season with Rhythm X in 2010.
Along with running several high school programs in Virginia, Tim taught George Mason University's Indoor WGI line in 2012 and 2013, winning a gold medal in PIO before the group moved to the World Class division. He also taught the Spirit of Atlanta for the 2013 and 2014 seasons, during which he moved to Florida and started working with Infinity.
Tim has also performed with the 'Top Secret Drum Corps' in Switzerland and Scotland at the Basel and Edinburgh Military Tattoos, at Busch Gardens in Virginia, with the Phoenix Suns' Drumline (PHX Percussion) and at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida.
Tim splits his time between Florida and Oman, and enjoys helping people get better at thinking through drumming.
