Steve Haney is a percussionist that specializes in applying a unique groove into various styles of music. Highlights in recordings and performances are: Stevie Wonder, Performing for President Obama at The White House with Oscar winner A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire composer) Oprah Winfrey Show, Greyboy Allstars, Joe Bataan, Quantic, Ozomatli and Grammy winning vocalist Gregory Porter.  

Haney composed music for On Surfari on National Geographic TV, performed on the BRAVO Network’s Real Housewives, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Sly & Robbie, Afro Beat drum pioneer Tony Allen, Black Uhuru vocalist Mykal Rose, Jazz legend vocalist Andy Bey, The Breakastra,  Ethio Cali, Michael Franti's Spearhead, Biz Markie, and Jurrasic 5,

Steve’s performances have showcased him in concerts and festivals all throughout Europe, South America, Canada, Mexico, and the United States. His current project “Jungle Fire”, a band he also shares with fellow IP artists Michael Duffy and Alberto Lopez, recently embarked on a massively successful U.K. tour playing to packed venues at every stop including headlining Craig Charles’ Funk Club (Band On The Wall) and BBC 6 Radio. Not stopping there, the band also made their South American debut at the Mompox Jazz Festival in Colombia.
