Rudy Arzaga was born and raised in Southern California and has played an active role in the marching percussion world. Rudy has performed all over the United States and Europe with such groups as Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps (2002), Black Knights (2003), Cascades Drum & Bugle Corps (2003), Riverside Community College Drumline (2204-2006, section leader 2005 & 2006) and Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps (2004-2005).
After graduating high school Rudy came back and helped lead Aliso Niguel High School to two WBA A/AA/AAA/ High Percussion Titles in 2003 and 2006. He was also on staff at Pulse Percussion from 2008 to 2010 when they earned their first WGI Independent World Gold Medal. He then moved his attention to Pulse Open as Front Ensemble Coordinator where he not only helped lead them to the 2011 WGI Independent Open Bronze Medal, but then to their bump to World Class in 2012 where they ended up 10th. Rudy currently teaches at numerous high schools throughout Southern California including Trabuco Hills High School (2010 SCPA Gold Medalist), Upland High School (2012 BOA Utah Regional Champions, 3rd place WBA Championships 4A/5A), Chino High School (3-time Fiesta Bowl Grand National Chamions), and Valencia High School (2011 SCPA PSCO Gold Medalist, 2012 SCPA PSCO Silver Medalists).
Rudy received a B.A. in Communications, Advertising emphasis, as well as a Minor in Music from Cal State Fullerton. Rudy currently resides in Laguna Hills, CA.
