After a bad stint with the clarinet Peter made the switch to percussion, and since that time there has been no looking back. He has been playing drums for over 20 years, and in that time has performed with many groups. Some of the groups are Arizona's first competitive indoor high school drumline Gilbert High School, the Jazz Combo from Chandler Gilbert Community College, the Rhythm is Life steel drum band,  performed on stage with Keith Urban in concert, BOOM! Percussion, and was a member of Arizona's first Independent World Class Drumline, Momentum Percussion Theatre, who were WGI Finalists in 2003 and 2004.

Not only was Peter a performer and bass section leader in Momentum Percussion Theatre 2003-2004, he was also on staff from 2003-2006. During that time, he handled much of the groups logistics as well as instructing the battery along with his former instructors and mentors Rich Hinshaw and Antonio Hernandez.

Peter has taught rudimental drumming to students of all ages, from a youth drumline at the Gilbert Boys & Girls Club for kids ages 6-12, all the way up to Percussion Independent World (PIW) finalists and everything in-between.

Currently, Peter is the Percussion Caption Head for Williams Field High School in Gilbert, Arizona.  The marching programs at Williams Field continue to grow & excel in both local and national circuits alike.  The Black Hawk Regiment & Indoor drumline currently compete in the ABODA, WBA, WGAZ, and WGI circuits. Future endeavors include regularly competing at WGI Championships in Dayton, Ohio.

In addition to instructing, Peter was a charter member of the Winter Guard Arizona (WGAZ) Percussion Advisory Board and has consulted for several indoor programs through the state of Arizona.
