Nick Jasso has taught various high schools throughout the Southern California region for the last 7 years. Most recently noted for his work with Ayala High school as a design team member and percussion instructor, mainly working with the bass drum section and monitor rigs. He also has worked for the drum corps scene teaching at the Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps and The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps, this being his second year on staff at The Academy.
Nick went to RCC where he was apart of the marching band program and was a part of the snare line for 2 years where he was under the direction of Sean Vega, Jared Andrews, Pete Sapadin, and Fernando Miller. His drum corps experience includes Impulse Drum & Bugle Corps and Phantom Regiment, in total marching 5 seasons. Nick went to Victor Valley College where he earned his A.A. in fine arts and has further aspirations to get his masters in interpersonal communications. He now works as an independent contractor as a videographer and Photographer for Multiple drum manufacturing companies as well as one of the worlds best educators year after year. He continues to be noted as an innovator and looks forward to a lifetime of education within the activity.
