Michael Seabrook
WGAZ Indoor Guard and Percussion Circuit, Mighty Joe's Alumni Corp, Sandra Day O'Connor H.S.
Mike Seabrook has been performing and playing drums for more than 40 years. He has taught at every level of public education, from elementary all the way up to high school. He currently serves as Percussion Judge Coordinator and GE Caption Head for the WGAZ circuit in Phoenix, AZ. Where he has implemented the educational curriculum for judge training for both new and current judges this past season, implemented caption heads to help with that training and brought in clinicians to further the education level.
Mike has arranged and has served as caption head for more than 30 high schools and drum corps through the United States where the percussion lines have won many front percussion titles as well as being a leader in the implementation of keyboard and front ensemble instruments into the marching activity. Mike was the caption head for the Rochester Patriots from Rochester, NY as well as the Program Coordinator for DCA finalist Carolina Gold from Raleigh, NC and as an instructor/arranger for Mighty St. Joe’s Alumni Corps from Leroy, NY, Mike has also performed with the corps over the last five years. Mike is currently a consultant with Sandra Day O'Connor High School in the Phoenix, AZ.
In addition to being a marching specialist, Mike has been an adjudicator with DCI, DCE, DCA, TOB, the New York Field Band Conference, the New York State Indoor Percussion Circuit, the Atlantic Coast Circuit, Virginia Marching Band Circuit, the Arizona Band and Orchestra Directors Association and the WGAZ Indoor Guard and Percussion Circuit.
Mike is married to his wife Cheryl and lives in Scottdale, AZ.
