Drummer, percussionist, and music educator, Mark Dodge has been playing and teaching music for more than 25 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Maine with his Bachelor’s Degree in Percussion Performance, Mark went on to study privately with drumming guru Alan Dawson. In 1997 he moved to New York City, where he has been playing with a variety of musical ensembles as a freelance drummer, classical percussionist, and studio musician.  Mark was awarded his Master of Arts Degree in 2005 from the City College of New York, where he studied with Robby Ameen and John Patitucci.

Currently, Mark is the instrumental middle school music and jazz band director at Eastchester Middle School in Eastchester, NY. Mark can be seen in and around the New York area performing with his own band, the Mark Dodge Trio, as well as the Westchester Symphonic Winds and the New York Wind Symphony.
