Lane Armey is the battery percussion coordinator for Homestead High School in Cupertino, California, where he had taught since 2005. Prior to that, Lane was a part of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps percussion staff from 2001-2005, serving as Percussion Caption Head in 2003-2004. Lane has taught and/or arranged for various other ensembles including Northwestern University, Marian Catholic High School and the Patriots Drum & Bugle Corps. In his performing days, Lane spent six seasons in the Bluecoats Quad Line from 1993 to 1998, where he was Percussion Member of the Year in 1997. He has been published by Drop6 Media and is a contributor to Halftime Magazine.

Aside from his marching percussion passion, Lane has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He works full-time for VISA, Inc. and lives in San Francisco.
