Ken Coomer is a native Nashvillian and three-time Grammy-nominated drummer and producer. He was an original founding member of Wilco, touring with the band for eight years and recording A.M., Being There, Summerteeth, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and the Grammy-nominated Wilco/Billy Bragg Mermaid Ave Vols. I & II. Prior to that, he was a founding member of post-punk band, Clockhammer, and a member of Uncle Tupelo, recording the ground-breaking album Anodyne. 

As a drummer, most recently, Ken has been recording with soul legend, Al Green, Stax artist William Bell, Eli Paperboy Reed, Sean Rowe, and Nicki Bluhm. Throughout his career, he has also played and recorded with Steve Earle, Fitz and the Tantrums, Sheryl Crow, Frank Black, Emmylou Harris, Malcolm Holcombe, Roger McGuinn, Phil Lesh, Billy Bragg, Tim Finn, Jars of Clay, Little Jimmy Scott, Lambchop, and many more. 

He owns Cartoon Moon Recording Studio located in East Nashville.
Some of the current records he has produced are Son’s Of Bill’s Love and Logic, Peter Oren’s Anthropocene, Dead Horses’ Cartoon Moon and My Mother The Moon. Ken has also produced and played on several gold and platinum Latin records, including Chetes, Lori Meyers, and Amaral.
