Kali began her marching career when she marched snare drum for both the fall and winter programs from 2004 - 2007. In 2005, she obtained a WGI Silver medal with South Lyon Percussion and from there went on to extend her marching resume for the next eight years.

Her WGI indoor experience includes marching snare drum for Redline Percussion Independent World (2008 - 2011) and Gateway Indoor Percussion Independent World (2012 - 2013). Her drum corps experience includes Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps in 2010 and Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps in 2011 and 2012, where she was the first female center snare and co-section leader for the corps.

Throughout her teaching career, Kali has instructed over 10 high school programs throughout the states of Michigan, Missouri, and Colorado as well as two seasons with the Golden Buffalo Marching Band with the University of Colorado, Boulder. Her time in Denver includes one season with Altitude Percussion and two seasons with Rise Percussion, an Independent Percussion ensemble which took 2nd Place at WGI World Championships in 2017. She has had the opportunity to be an instructor for Girls March, a leadership and music training camp for young female musicians in 2018 and completed three summer tours as a Drumline Technician for the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps out of Dubuque, Iowa.

She had the incredible opportunity of becoming a member of a performance drumline in 2017 with the Grammy-nominated electronic duo ODESZA out of Seattle, WA and continued touring with them through 2019. With the possibility of a release of a new album the tour may begin shortly and we will be waiting patiently to see if the ODESZA Drumline will return.
