Jordan has bee on staff with the Kickapoo High School Band since 2005. As an accomplished pianist and percussionist, his time at Kickapoo is mostly spent writing for and teaching the Kickapoo Winter Drumline. The drumline was awarded the PSA Silver Medal in Dayton, Ohio at the 2010 WGI World Championships. During his time at Kickapoo, Jordan has also founded the Kickapoo Concert Percussion Ensemble. In addition to his time at Kickapoo, Jordan is also the percussion instructor for the Central High School Wind Ensemble.

Jordan is a graduate of Missouri State University. He also holds two degrees in piano performance and instrumental music education. During his time at Missouri State, Jordan has performed as piano and percussion soloist with the University Wind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. Jordan performed under the direction of composer David Gillingham his Concerto for Piano, Percussion, and Wind Orchestra in 2007. Jordan has also served as a guest percussionist with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra. He is currently working on a masters degree at Missouri State with concentration in piano performance and wind band conducting.

Jordan has had the opportunity to perform with many distinguished musicians such as Jeff Lee, music director of Blast!; Bret Kuhn, active percussion arranger/clinician; David Gillingham, composer/arranger; Ted Atkatz, former Chicago Symphony timpanist; Barry Snyder, professor of piano at the Eastman School of Music; and Carter Pann, composer/arranger.
