Jeremy Marks is a performer, educator, and composer based in Washington, D.C. Since 2016, he has performed as a snare drummer with the prestigious US Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps, where he serves as the head drumline music arranger. He has traveled extensively with the corps both across the US and internationally, reaching audiences ranging from large stadiums to elementary school classrooms.

Jeremy's passion for traditional rudimental drumming led to an interest in the drumming style originating from Basel, Switzerland. He has performed multiple times at the carnival of Fasnacht held annually in Basel, most recently as a member of the group Spale Clique 1927. Jeremy is also a member of The 21st Grey Coat Battalion Fife & Drum Corps, an American-style fife and drum corps from Basel that draws inspiration from the Old Guard.

As a teacher and clinician, Jeremy has taught at schools and universities around the country and abroad including the Maryland PAS Day of Percussion, Shenandoah University, the University of Alabama, Knabenmusik der Stadt Zurich, and the Norwegian Academy of Music. Most notably, he had the opportunity to work with the drummers of the Pontifical Swiss Guard at the Vatican, where he along with a group of top Swiss and American drummers performed for Pope Francis on the steps of St. Peter's Basilica.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Music degree in from Radford University where he studied with Dr. Rob Sanderl. He also currently serves on the Percussive Arts Society Marching Percussion Committee.
