Julia Ryan graduated from the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education under the mentorship of Timothy K. Adams Jr. and Kimberly Toscano Adams.

Currently, Julia holds the position of Percussion Caption Head at East Lincoln High School in Denver, NC. She also serves as a Percussion Instructor at Cox Mill High School, Northwest School of the Arts, Palmetto Indoor Marching Arts, and other programs across North Carolina. Prior to relocation to North Carolina, Julia taught as a percussion instructor in South Georgia and Athens.

Julia resides in Charlotte, NC alongside her wife Natalie and their four fur babies: two English Bulldogs named Prince Bartholomew and Sir Elton, and two cats named Davy Joney and Alfredo Reed. In her free time, Julia can be found searching for the best slice of pizza and best cup of black coffee that North Carolina has to offer.
