Ethan McDaniel currently serves as Lecturer of Percussion and Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is also an active performer and educator in the Chattanooga area.

As a performer, Ethan has been invited to perform concerts throughout the United States. He regularly performs with Crossplay Percussion Duo and is currently the Artistic Director of a newly formed chamber percussion ensemble, Southeast Percussion Group. Other performing

credits include the Bryan Symphony Orchestra, nief-norf, and the Cody James Harris Trio.

Ethan is an active marching percussion arranger as well and has arranged for many programs including the Soddy Daisy High School Band, Macon County Indoor Drumline, Pride of the Southland Marching Band, and the UTC Marching Mocs. As an educator, Ethan has taught

percussion at multiple programs in Tennessee including Oak Ridge High School, Farragut High School, Soddy Daisy High School, Tennessee Tech University drumline, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville drumline.

Ethan holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University (B.M.) and The University of Tennessee, Knoxville (M.M.) and is a sponsored artist of Innovative Percussion.
