Bee Trinh is a resident of Sacramento, California where they currently teach percussion and perform on the side. They received their Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Sacramento in Instrumental Music Education, proudly studying under Daniel Kennedy, Chris Froh, and Jordan Shippy. During their time at Sac State, they were a founding member with Sacramento State Indoor (2018-2022) during their first competitive season and served as a section leader in the marching band and the indoor ensemble (SSI) for many years. In 2019, Bee was also a member of Golden Empire DBC, an open-class DCI group based in Bakersfield, CA where they marched marimba.

With a great passion for creating a welcoming and positive environment for young musicians looking to continue their marching career past high school, they are currently working as the front ensemble coordinator and arranger within the Sacramento State Marching Band and Sacramento State Indoor.

Bee is also currently the front ensemble coordinator and arranger at Laguna Creek High School, and front ensemble coordinator at West Park High School. Building up the programs over the years, they have had a hand in taking both schools to further compete in the WGI circuit, with Laguna Creek obtaining a medal at their first ever regional in 2023.
