Erik Kosman currently resides in Kennesaw Georgia with his girlfriend Erin and his two huskies Sabre and Dakota. Erik is an active freelance percussionist and instructor in the greater Atlanta area. When not teaching or playing, he works as an audio engineer and installing sound systems for churches and businesses.

Erik has taught several successful bands and indoor drum lines including Kennesaw Mountain, Hillgrove, Reeths-Puffer, Jenison, Rockford, and Walled Lake Central. As well as teaching in the United States, Erik was privileged to be on staff with the Kadoudal Drum Corps from Quiberon, France. From 2011-2013 he taught and was the sound engineer for the front ensemble at the Spirit of Atlanta Drum Corps. Starting in 2014, Erik began working with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps as an instructor and sound engineer.
