Eric is currently the Director of Percussion and Assistant Band Director at James Logan High School in Union City, CA as well as Director of the New Haven Percussion Ensemble.  Eric earned is BA in Music Education from Fresno State University and went on to become a band director at Foothill HS in Bakersfield, CA before joining James Logan.  Eric was in the Concord Blue Devils snare line for four years and went onto win two high percussion titles and two DCI World Championships.

As a member of Clovis West High School, they were a part of the inaugural WGI Percussion Championships winning first place. After his time at Clovis West High School, he was a member of the Sacramento Freelancers PIO.

In addition, Eric has been a percussion instructor at many high schools in central and northern California, as well as Yamato Drum & Bugle Corps, Fever Drum & Bugle Corps, Sacramento Mandarins, Sacramento Freelancers, and the Blue Devils B Drum & Bugle Corps.  Eric is a proud endorser of Pearl Drums, Zildjian, Innovative Percussion and Evans Drumheads.
