Jeff Porcaro discovered the talents of Chris Trujillo early on and chose him to be the percussionist for Toto, up till Porcaro’s untimely passing.  The duo’s seamless and exciting performances can be seen on the now-famous live Toto concert video, “Live At Montreux”, featuring a burning Jeff and Chris solo on their iconic song, Africa.   Drummer/Percussionist Chris Trujillo has played with some of music’s biggest names, including Rod Stewart, Tom Petty, Richard Marx, The Black Crowes, Diana Ross, The Hollywood Vampires and Glenn Frey.  His discography includes Toto: Absolutely Live & Kingdom Of Desire; Richard Marx: Rush Street; Chef Aid: South Park Soundtrack;  The Black Crowes: Heartbreak Horizon; Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers: Greatest Hits; Mary Jane’s Last Dance: She’s The One soundtrack and many more. 

Chris is currently the drummer for the highly acclaimed, Billboard charting R&B vocal group, Tierra.
