Chris Hodgson began his percussion playing at Center Grove middle and high school under the direction of Rodney Smith and Jeff Huffman.  At the university level Chris earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Butler University where he studied percussion under Jon Crabiel and Craig Hetrick.  Chris participated in several Drum and Bugle Corps including: Seattle Cascades in 2005, Capital Regiment in 2006, and the Troopers in 2007.  Chris has also performed in the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Madonna in 2012 as a member of the drumline and has played with the Indianapolis Colts drumline.  As an educator Chris has taught percussion at several school districts most notably Center Grove, Greenfield Central, and Franklin Township.  Currently Chris serves as the Assistant Band Director for Franklin Township Middle School East and the Director of Percussion for Franklin where he has been since 2012.
