Born and raised in Philadelphia, Brian Kilian
has been playing, studying, and teaching drums for over 20 years. Whether it be a pit orchestra or a big band,
drum line or local rock bands, there was little he didn't participate in as a
youth. In 1998 Brian attended The
University of the Arts in Philadelphia before leaving in 2001 to play
professionally around town.
In 2004 Brian made his first move to Nashville,
playing with bands and artists in the music city, as well as touring and
recording as often as possible. 2009 saw
Brian return to Philadelphia to Automatic Fire, a rock band consisting of
former members of the band Silvertide.
Through Automatic Fire, Brian toured nationally, sharing stages with
bands such as Shinedown, Stone Temple Pilots, and Halestorm.
An audition in the winter of 2013 for Grammy
Nominated Nashville singer/songwriter Will Hoge brought Brian back to
Nashville, where he has been touring extensively with Will, including dozens of
headlining shows as well as many opening slots for the likes of Gary Allan,
Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley. A mixture of country, rock and roll, and R
and B, Brian's diverse and well rounded style serves as an exciting catalyst to
the 15 year veterans vast catalog. With a new record due out in October 2013,
and with his new single “Strong” being pegged for Chevrolet's new 2014
Silverado commercial, a heavy fall tour is on the horizon.
