BOOM! Percussion Entertainment provides High Impact novelty entertainment for corporate and other large scale events.  Each ensemble performance is designed to bring a burst of energy and create a memorable, surprise experience for the guests. 

BOOM! offers an LED Trash Can Percussion group, LED Drumline, Marching Band, and a Samba group.  The group is based out of the metro Phoenix area but also travels, performing throughout the southwest, including Las Vegas, Southern California, and New Mexico.  

BOOM! was created by Michael Richau in 2007.  Michael studied music at Arizona State University under Dr. J.B. Smith, Bill Wanser, Cloyd Duff, and Dom Moio.  He marched with the Spirit of Atlanta and Impulse Drum and Bugle Corps and was a performer in the Disney's California Adventure cast of 'Blast!' in 2002 as a percussionist and featured snare drum soloist.  

Michael currently teaches Elementary General Music, Choir, and Band in Mesa Arizona.  In addition to his teaching position, and managing BOOM!, Michael also works as a freelance musician.  He currently subs in a number of Phoenix area cover bands and performs with TAD Management, performing in a variety of tribute shows. Through this opportunity he has performed nationally as well as internationally, including multiple European tours on Disney Cruise Line.    

Michael's performance and teaching experience, mixed with creativity, drive, and passion for music and entertainment has helped inspire the creation of BOOM!
