Coming up in the Midwest underground music scene, Alex cut his teeth in the vibrant neon pop punk world and quickly discovered his knack for high-energy showmanship. The technical discipline of marching at the University of Notre Dame laid the foundation for a unique blending of musical influences that have helped Alex land national touring acts in the country world today. To date, Alex has opened for some of the most recognizable stars in country music, including direct support for Tim McGraw, Hudson Westbrook, Chase Matthew, Chris

Janson, Chase Rice, Jackson Dean, Joe Nichols, Clay Walker, Parmalee, Granger Smith, Morgan Evans and Matt Stell. He has received opportunities to play major festivals nationwide and has also seen success locally in Nashville, being part of multiple debuts for new artists at the industry-renowned Whiskey Jam, all while playing nearly 400 shows per year downtown on Broadway.

Alex loves meeting new colleagues over coffee and firmly believes “A rising tide lifts all boats.” Connectivity in business and championing people that inspire creativity will always be paramount in today’s live music environment.

Having over a decade of teaching experience, Alex’s work with multiple reputable schools and universities in West Michigan has furthered his desire to promote music education and development both in the classroom and on stage.
