Alex McVey is a Nashville-based drummer known for his versatility both on stage and in the  studio. With a career spanning Christian and Country music, Alex has performed and toured with  a wide range of artists, including Matt Stell, Tenille Arts, Brandon Heath, Jordan Davis, Elliot  Root, Chrissy Metz, Rhett Walker, Nicolle Galyon, Sidewalk Prophets, We Are Messengers,  Micah Tyler, Plumb, and many more! 

While live performance has taken him across the country, Alex’s primary focus lies in session  work. From his fully equipped home studio, he engineers and records remote drum tracks for  artists and producers across the industry. To date, he has played on hundreds of songs and  continues to expand his reach as a sought-after session drummer. 

In addition to his work behind the kit, Alex is the founder of McVey Acoustics LLC, a custom  acoustic treatment company. He designs, builds, and installs bespoke acoustic solutions for  studios, churches, and commercial spaces combining his passion for audio with hands-on  craftsmanship.
