Tommy Aros is a self-taught percussionist, who has been very fortunate to have studied and performed with great percussionists like Armando Peraza, Michael Spiro, and Mike Shapiro.  When Tommy is not touring around the world he teaches percussion locally, he currently has 15 students.  Tommy also travels to different public schools in the area presenting world percussion and Latin percussion clinics.

       

Besides performing in concerts, Tommy stays busy in the studio recording with musicians from the San Diego and Los Angeles areas.  He has recorded on over 60 Albums. He has had the pleasure to record with Freddie Hubbard, Al Dimeola, David Benoit, Evan Marks, Kiko Cibrain, Checkfield, Dan Segel, Pat Kelly, Grant Giesman, Kevyn Lettua, Phil Sheeran, Peter Sprauge, Mark Lessman, Charo, Trini Lopez, Nathan East, Ricky Lawson, Lori Bell-Dave Mckay, Christain, Mike Wofford and Holly Hoffman and many others.

Since 1995 Tommy Aros has been touring with Luis Miguel.  They have toured Mexico, U.S. , South American and Europe. We have played large venues that hold forty to one hundred thousand fans. Tommy has also recorded on seven of LUIS MIGUEL cd's which have won six GRAMMY’S.
