Oliver Rodriguez currently serves as an Associate of Director of Bands at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Percussion Performance from Michigan State University where he studied with Gwendolyn Dease and Jon Weber, in addition to, a Post-Baccalaureate teaching certification from Eastern Michigan University. He has previously served as the Director of Percussion at Lakeland High School and an Instrumental Music Instructor at Walled Lake Northern High School. Currently he works as the Director of the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park Percussion Ensemble (PSO) and the Huron Valley Percussion Ensemble (PIA). In addition, he continues to compose and arrange music for marching bands, concert bands, and percussion ensembles with his extra time.

Furthermore, Oliver has had the privilege of performing with The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, NorthCoast Academy Percussion Ensemble, Legends Brass & Percussion Ensemble, Battle Creek Symphony, and the Spartan Marching Band. He is a member of the Percussive Arts Society and also currently serves on the MCGC Percussion and Winds Advisory Board.

In the past he was a staff member with several winter programs including NorthCoast Academy Percussion Ensemble from 2010-2013 where he took on the role of Front Ensemble Writer for the 2013 WGI Season. He then worked to help with the return of Redline Percussion Ensemble, serving as the Front Ensemble Coordinator during the 2015 season. Lastly, he was also the Front Ensemble Coordinator for the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps during the 2010 and 2012 DCI seasons.
