Dennis was given his first drum set when he was 9 years old.  Playing in various pop/rock bands and in his school marching band and orchestra, Dennis set his sights on a music career early in life.  His first paid performance came at the age of 12.  Born in Hawaii and living in Florida, California, Colorado, and finally landing in Nashville, Dennis has recorded and performed with numerous artists and bands worldwide with a wide variety of styles, as a full time musician.  

Throughout his career, Dennis has had the opportunity to record and/or perform with artists that include: Trisha Yearwood, Emmylou Harris, Taylor Swift, Hank Williams Jr., Ricky Skaggs, Sheila E., T Bone Burnett, Six Pence None The Richer, Marie Osmond, Lee Ann Womack, Kansas, White Heart, Loretta Lynn, and many others.  He has had the opportunity to record radio/TV jingles for corporations that include McDonalds, Pepsi, Air National Guard, 7 Eleven, IBM, Miller Brewing, Discover Card, Diet Coke, and Mazda (Zoom Zoom).  For a complete discography please visit http://www.allmusic.com/artist/dennis-holt-mn0000224642/credits.
