Adrian Valderrama is an international freelance percussionist, educator, and graphic designer from Plano, TX. From 2011-2012, she toured internationally with the Tony and Emmy award-winning Broadway show Blast! as a general percussionist and timpani specialist. She was also a cast member in the new Blast!: The Music of Disney tour in 2016 and 2017, where she was also a featured snare soloist. 
Additionally, Adrian has been involved with Drum Corps International for many years as a member and an instructor, having marched with Spirit of Atlanta from 2003-2004 and with the Boston Crusaders from 2005-2007, and having taught with the Boston Crusaders and the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps. 
In 2017, Adrian received a BM in Percussion Performance from the University of North Texas, and she holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the same institution. While attending, she was a part of the UNT Wind Symphony, under the direction of Eugene Corporon, and studied with Christopher Deane, Mark Ford, Ed Smith, and Stockton Helbing. She has been fortunate to have played at PASIC in 2010 and 2017 as part of the Collegiate International Percussion Ensemble Competition, as well as the 2015 Midwest Convention in Chicago, IL with the UNT Wind Symphony.
Adrian currently lives in the Dallas, TX area with her corgi, Ivan, and has taught in the DFW area since 2006.
